Oakton trivia night Thursday

Put on your thinking caps and enjoy a night of fun and friendly competition while raising money for Oakton Community College scholarships Thursday by attending Trivia Night at Club Casa Café, 353 N. River Road, Des Plaines.

Doors open at 6 p.m., and trivia starts at 6:30 p.m. This year's theme is Chicago. Ticket will cost $30 per person.

In addition, bid on a variety of sports memorabilia from Chicago teams, including Luis Aparicio, Robin Ventura, Ernie Banks and Billy Williams autographed baseballs in trophy cases with certificate of authenticity (COA), a 2005 Chicago White Sox World Series Champions cap with original stickers, and a 2006 Chicago Bears National Football Conference Championship cap with original stickers.

Sponsored by Oakton's Office of Alumni Relations and Alumni Council, the event includes a 50/50 raffle. Purchase one ticket for $1 or six for $5. Winners need not be present.
