Zumba fundraiser hosted by Palatine Park District

Palatine Park District will host a zumba pool party on Thursday, July 19. The fitness charity event is being presented to support WINGS, Women in Need Growing Stronger. It'll run from 8 to 9 p.m. at the family aquatic center at 340 E. Palatine Road in Palatine. The district's certified zumba instructors will lead the evening's fitness classes for those 14 and older. including a zumba fitness "dryland" class held on the deck followed by an Aqua Zumba class in the pool. The entry fee of $10 for residents and $12 for nonresidents includes a goody bag, free door prize ticket and refreshments. Registration can be completed using program code 322160-16 at palatineparks.org or in person at Birchwood Recreation Center, Community Center or Falcon Park Recreation Center.
