New turn lane at Stevenson High campus in Lincolnshire

Crews are creating a new turn lane at Stevenson High School's Port Clinton Road entrance.

The lane is designed to make entering and exiting the campus easier for motorists. A new center lane for westbound traffic is supposed to be added, too.

Other construction projects being completed this summer at the Lincolnshire campus include roof repairs and changes to two dance studios.

The various projects are expected to cost about $6.7 million.

The summertime projects are independent of the ongoing construction of a $27 million addition to the East Building. That project began last year and is scheduled to be completed in August 2019.
