Crowd grooves to the blues at the Grayslake library

The Friends of the Library continued its summer concert series Monday night at the Grayslake Area Public Library. John Primer & The Real Deal Blues Band hit the stage with hundreds of music lovers enjoying the event on the library's front lawn.

Primer is a two-time Grammy Award nominee and has played with blues greats Muddy Waters, Willie Dixon, Junior Wells, Buddy Guy and Koko Taylor.

Future summer Monday night concerts include Chris Calhoun on July 9, Small Potatoes on July 23 and Makani & Friends on Aug. 13.
