Prospect Heights Park District Block Party an event for the whole city

The Prospect Heights Block Party from 2 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday included food trucks, children's games, inflatables, a regional teen battle of the bands, voice competition finals, a free swim and a Lions Club duck race to raise funds for good causes.

Several bands performed and there also was a beer and wine tent.

  The 3Emmez, a band made up of Arlington Heights brothers, plays the Prospect Heights Park District Block Party at Lions Park Saturday. They are Anthony Emme, 12, on guitar, Giorgio, 10, lead vocals and keyboards, and Dom, 14, on drums. John Starks/jstarks@dailyherald.com
