Barrington center geared for teens opens near high school

Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce and village officials recently celebrated the opening of a center geared for high school students. Barrington Campus Life Center debuted last week at 150 S. Lageschulte St. The center is three blocks east of Barrington High School and designed to be safe place for students to meet with peers and mentors.

As a multifunctional 5,000-square-foot venue, the center includes a cafe, auditorium and convertible spaces for teenagers to be engaged academically, emotionally, mentally, socially and spiritually.
