Elgin Community College Police Chief Dave Kintz acknowledges visitors to the Dunkin' Donuts on McLean Boulevard in South Elgin during Friday's Cop on a Rooftop fundraiser for Special Olympics. The 16th annual fundraiser was a chance for police officers around the state to poke fun at their alleged love of doughnuts, as well as to raise money for Special Olympics, which serves more than 43,000 athletes of all ages.
