Antioch woman dies in Wisconsin motorcycle crash

A 47-year-old Antioch woman died Saturday when the motorcycle she was riding was involved in a chain-reaction crash that injured five others in Kenosha County, Wisconsin, authorities said Monday.

Lisa Fagan was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on the 12400 block of Highway W in the town of Randall, according to the Kenosha County sheriff's office.

Fagan was on the back of a 2010 Harley-Davidson heading south with a group of motorcycles at 6:32 p.m. when another driver lost control on a curve and crashed. That started a domino effect that ended with two other motorcycles crashing, including the one that Fagan was aboard, authorities said.

Five other motorcyclists suffered injuries ranging in from minor to significant, according to the sheriff's department.

Sheriff's Sgt. Mark Malecki said it appears the crash was the result of driving too fast on a winding country road. Malecki did not know whether Fagan or other riders were wearing helmets.
