Pet vaccine in Vernon Hills

Vernon Hills police and the Lake County Health Department hosting a pet vaccination and microchip clinic from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the village public works facility, 490 Greenleaf Drive.

Cost for a microchip is $15 per pet, cash only. Services such as 24-hour notification and lost pet alerts are available for a fee from the chip provider.

All animals brought to the clinic must be at least four months old. Cats must be in a carrier and dogs must be leashed.
