Dozens of food trucks at Lake County fundraiser to stop child abuse

The Exchange Club of Grayslake Saturday hosted the 2nd Annual Lake County Food Truck Frenzy, a fundraising event for the prevention of child abuse, at the Lake County Fairgrounds.

The family-friendly event catered to all palettes, with 25 food trucks from Chicago to Milwaukee and everywhere between serving food and drinks to the large crowd of hungry people.

There was seafood from Happy Lobster, grilled cheese from Toasty Cheese, smoked meat from BBQ Productions and many other options, including nonfood items like the science toys found in the Purple Me Green truck.

Medleys in Motion provided music and there were 50/50 raffles every hour.
