Grayslake Historical Society event
The Grayslake Historical Society will host its annual Holiday Open House from 1 to 4 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 8 at the Grayslake Heritage Center and Museum, 164 Hawley St., Grayslake.
Children will be able to visit and have their picture taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus in the Society's vintage sleigh.
There will be crafts for children and refreshments.
Entertaining with Christmas music from 2 to 3 p.m. will be the Warren High School Alumni Choir.
Visitors will be able to vote for the best Giving Tree displayed at the museum, and for the best downtown Christmas window decorations.
