FBI searches for Schaumburg bank robber
Authorities are searching for a man who robbed a TCF Bank in Schaumburg Tuesday morning.
According to the FBI, the man held up the bank at 2501 W. Schaumburg Road about 10:22 a.m. Tuesday.
He was described as a white man in his mid 40s, standing 5'8" to 5'10" and weighing 170 to 180 pounds. He was wearing a grey-colored urban camouflage hooded sweatshirt and a dark-colored beanie cap.
The FBI said it was a "non-takeover" robbery. Additional information about whether the man was armed, what he stole and how he escaped was not immediately available.
