Palatine High School student art will be displayed starting today at the village's library.

Palatine Public Library District officials said the art will be showcased through April 1. The exhibit will feature an array of pottery, photography, digital prints, drawings and paintings.

Visitors can vote for their favorite piece through Wednesday, March 14. There will be a Palatine High community choice awards and reception from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Artist and their teachers will be on hand.

"Our students have worked hard on their pieces and are so excited to exhibit their artwork at Palatine library. We look forward to meeting the community at the Awards Reception," Palatine High art teacher Rachel Bartlett said.
