Magic, comedy brighten gloomy day for Wauconda library visitors

Magician Keith Cobb used comedy, juggling and magic tricks to entertain and amaze his audience Monday at the Wauconda Area Library.

More than 120 children, parents and caregivers watched the award-winning magician perform his high-energy, interactive show.

"Things are appearing, disappearing with a lot of audience participation. There is a lot of fun and excitement with silly stuff for the kids," Cobb said as he prepared for the show.

Children laughed as they helped the magician make eggs appear from an empty bag, watched three ropes turn into one and saw a ring magically float through a tied scarf.
