Frosty Footrace in Round Lake Beach
The Frosty Footrace 5K walk/run to benefit Friends of the Round Lake Area Parks Foundation will be Sunday, Feb. 25. Check in/registration is 10 a.m. and the walk/run is at 11 a.m. at the Round Lake Area Park District Sports Center, 2004 Municipal Way, Round Lake Beach. The event features timing, race medals and awards. Fees are $25 for adults and $12 (13 years and under for preregistration and $30/$15 at the race. Proceeds benefit the park district's "Fun"ds for Recreation Scholarship program. Register online at www.rlapd.org Code: 9070.
