Indian Trails Library hosting legislative breakfast

The Indian Trails Public Library and Northbrook Public Library will host the 28th annual Presidents Day Library Legislative Breakfast on Monday, Feb. 19, at the Arboretum Club, 401 W. Half Day Road in Buffalo Grove.

Organized by the Illinois Library Association, the annual event brings more than 100 library trustees, directors and staff members together with their legislative leadership to discuss issues affecting local libraries. The breakfast provides an opportunity for the library community and elected officials to meet and share news and concerns.

This year's featured speakers include ILA Legislative Consultant Derek Blaida and new ILA Executive Director Diane Foote.

Breakfast begins at 7:45 a.m. Speakers begin at 8:30 a.m. The registration fee is $25. The registration deadline is Feb. 15. For details and registration, visit
