• Four books of lottery tickets, worth about $600, were stolen from the self-serve lottery machine at BP Amoco, Randall Road and McKee Street, it was reported to police at 5:07 p.m. Monday.

• Two people fled with groceries after trying to pay for them with counterfeit $100 bills at a store on the 400 block of North Randall Road at 4:14 p.m. Saturday. The bills were described as having a yellowish tint and felt different from real bills.

• Kiley R. Welch, 32, of the 200 block of Hampton Road, Sugar Grove, and Mayella Alegria, 32, of the 1400 block of Golden Oaks Parkway, Aurora, were charged with retail theft at 12:07 p.m. Friday at a store on the 200 block of North Randall Road, police said.

• A package was stolen out of a mailbox around 10 a.m. Feb. 1 on the 300 block of Republic Road.
