Super Sunday for jazz fans in Grayslake

It was a super Sunday for fans of jazz who could make it to the Grayslake Public Library for a performance by The Petra van Nuis Quartet.

The group is fronted by critically-acclaimed jazz vocalist Petra van Nuis, who has performed in Chicago and across the country since 2003.

Joining van Nuis were husband and guitarist Andy Brown, bassist Jake Vinsel and drummer Joe Adamik.

The free performance was sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
