Two men accused of sex assaults in Lake County

Two men have been charged with predatory criminal sexual assault in separate arrests in Lake County, authorities said Wednesday. Thomas E. Zbyszynski, 74, of the 3400 block of Jen Avenue, Park City, and Christopher L. Blatchford, 50, of the 1300 block of Light Road, Oswego, were arrested by the Lake County sheriff's Warrants Team and U.S. Marshals Service - Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force. Zbyszynski was arrested at his Park City residence Jan. 29 and charged with predatory criminal sexual assault and aggravated criminal sexual abuse, stemming from a Lindenhurst police investigation. He's being held in Lake County jail on $500,000 bail. Blatchford was arrested at his Oswego residence Jan. 30 and charged with three counts of predatory criminal sexual assault, stemming from a Mundelein police investigation. He's being held in Lake County jail on $1 million bail.
