Tap House Grill opens new location in Prospect Heights

Tap House Grill has opened its newest restaurant in Prospect Heights, bringing sports bar fare and craft beers to another location in the suburbs.

The restaurant opened at the Ramada Plaza Chicago North Shore at 1090 S. Milwaukee Ave. in late January. A ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house is set for 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8.

The restaurant replaces Village Inn Pizzeria Sports Bar and Grill, which left in July.

The hotel is the former Fairbridge Inn, located near the Chicago Executive Airport. In August 2016, Lakhani Hospitality reopened the hotel after a $5.2 million renovation. It features 139 guest rooms, 5,000 square feet of meeting space, a four-lane bowling alley, fitness center and the restaurant.

Tap House Grill, which first opened a St. Charles location in 2006, also has restaurants in Des Plaines, Hanover Park, Palatine, Lemont, Oswego and Plainfield.
