One killed in Grayslake crash

One person was killed and another injured in a crash in Grayslake Monday morning, authorities said.
Grayslake police said the crash took place on Route 120, about 100 feet west of Belle Court.
Preliminary information shows the driver of a Toyota Echo was traveling west on Route 120 around 10:56 a.m. when the vehicle crossed the centerline into the eastbound lane, where it was struck a Honda CRV traveling east.
Both victims were taken to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, where one driver was pronounced dead.
The identity of the victim has not yet been released, pending notification of the victim's family.
The crash remains under investigation.
