  As the first major snow of the winter hit the Chicago suburbs, I was on the lookout for an image other than the typical shoveling image. A quick glance at the snow covered ground I found this image. I liked the contrast of the dark and textured pine cone protruding out of the white and smooth snow. Keep your eyes open as you never know where an interesting image might be, it might be right under your feet.
