Bears linebacker Acho to speak at Willow Creek
Chicago Bears linebacker Sam Acho will be featured in interviews this weekend as part of celebrations honoring the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr., at Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington.
Acho will be interviewed by Teaching Pastor Steve Carter during services at 5:30 p.m. Saturday and 9 and 11:15 a.m. Sunday.
He is expected to share how he fuels his faith on and off the field, and will challenge attendees with how they can support racial reconciliation in Chicago and beyond.
The service also will feature a video interview with Acho and Chicago Bears Chairman George McCaskey about shared experiences that have impacted their team and community.
Willow Creek is at 67 Algonquin Road.
