Barrington Hills man makes newspaper's Irish Legal 100

Barrington Hills resident Francis Patrick Murphy, a partner at Corboy & Demetrio in Chicago, has been named to the 2017 Irish Legal 100, which is published by Irish Voice newspaper in New York City. This is the third year in a row that Murphy, a Chicago personal injury lawyer, has made the list. Murphy accepted the award from Irish Ambassador Dan Mulhall in Washington, D.C., in late October. Murphy joins Corboy & Demetrio Partners Robert J. Bingle and Philip Corboy Jr., on the elite list of the 100 leading lawyers nationwide of Irish descent.

• Waukegan-based Consumers Credit Union introduced four new credit union leaders: Cheryl Kubas was named Consumers Credit Union's first vice president of Talent Management; John Russo was named regional manager, Member Experience; Ivona Guziorek is the new Palatine Service Center manager; and Jessica Regalado was promoted to Schaumburg Service Center manager.

As the first vice president of Talent Management, Kubas of Grayslake is charged with driving the talent management strategy while leading the Human Resources Department for the member-owned credit union.

Russo of Huntley will oversee the credit union's six northern locations as regional manager of Member Experience. He is responsible for the performance and development of all Service Center managers.

As Palatine's Member Experience manager, Guziorek of Schiller Park is responsible for all operational aspects, including hiring and developing her staff in order to provide exemplary service and enhance the member experience.

Jessica Regalado of Streamwood joined Consumers Credit Union in 2014 as an assistant member experience manager. She brought a wealth of financial service experience to her position from Associated Bank, where she was a teller supervisor, and from Chase, serving as sales and service associate.

•Second Lt. Alexander Wziontka completed U.S. Air Force Officer Training School at Maxwell AFB, Montgomery, Alabama, and was commissioned Nov. 17. Wziontka, the son of Rose and Tim Wziontka of Buffalo Grove, is a 2012 graduate of Buffalo Grove High School. He also graduated from Michigan State University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science. He is currently assigned to Keesler AFB, Biloxi, Mississippi for undergraduate cyber training.
