Entercom Chicago's WBBM Newsradio will present its 22nd annual "Good Neighbor Radiothon" Friday, Dec. 8, at Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg to benefit the Salvation Army and its Bed and Bread Club.
WBBM News Anchor Pat Cassidy will host the live broadcast starting at 5 a.m.
"This annual fundraiser is a beloved event for our team as it is a chance for WBBM's entire news team to report about the positive work being done to provide food, clothing and shelter to neighbors in need within our own community," said Ron Gleason, WBBM's director of news and programming.
Listeners will have the opportunity to make donations from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. via phone by calling (844) 361-8400 or online via cbschicago.com/radiothon. Woodfield Mall will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. for those who would like to donate and partake in WBBM's Good Neighbor Radiothon in person.
WBBM Newsradio can be heard on 780AM, 105.9FM and on Radio.com.
