Des Plaines Elementary District 62 hosting substitute fair

Des Plaines Elementary District 62 will host a fair for those interested in serving as a substitute teacher in the district.

The fair will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 18 at Iroquois Community School, 1836 Touhy Ave., Des Plaines. Candidates will be interviewed at the fair by District 62 administrators.

"Substitute teachers are a pillar of support for our staff," said Interim Superintendent Paul Hertel. "We look forward to inviting the community to the district next month for the purpose of expanding our substitute candidate pool."
