Police looking for man who tried to rob Rivers Casino in Des Plaines

Illinois State Police are investigating an attempted robbery that happened last week at the Rivers Casino in Des Plaines.

A man entered the casino around 6:45 a.m. Nov. 22 and passed a note to a cashier that said, "Give me all the money," police said.

He is described as a black man with a mustache and facial hair last seen wearing a gray parka jacket with a hood, a blue shirt, gray pants, a black skull cap and dark-colored gym shoes with a white swoosh.

Police said the man left the casino without any money.
