Illinois State Police are investigating an attempted robbery that happened last week at the Rivers Casino in Des Plaines.

A man entered the casino around 6:45 a.m. Nov. 22 and passed a note to a cashier that said, "Give me all the money," police said.

He is described as a black man with a mustache and facial hair last seen wearing a gray parka jacket with a hood, a blue shirt, gray pants, a black skull cap and dark-colored gym shoes with a white swoosh.

Police said the man left the casino without any money.

Anyone with information should call Illinois State Police at (855) 494-0237. Callers can remain anonymous.
