Yingling hosting office hours, open house events

State Rep. Sam Yingling, a Democrat from Grayslake, is hosting satellite office hours in Wauconda and a Holiday Open House in Round Lake Beach this December.

The office hours event takes place from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Dec. 6, at Wauconda village hall, 101 N. Main St. At the event, constituents can receive assistance on a variety of state and local matters, get help developing their resumes, search for a job and claim any property the state may have through the iCash Program.

The holiday open house is scheduled for 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19, at his full-time constituent service office, 1919 Route 83 in Round Lake Beach. During the open house, attendees can visit with Yingling, his staff and have light holiday refreshments.

Both events are free and open to the public. RSVPs are not necessary, but are appreciated. Attendees also are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to benefit families in need.
