Multiple women file complaints about Dist. 62 superintendent

Women working in Des Plaines Elementary District 62 have filed complaints about the conduct of Superintendent Floyd Williams Jr., whom the school board could fire as soon as this evening, the Daily Herald has learned. The board has refused to comment about the reasons for a proposed separation agreement that members are expected to consider during a special meeting starting at 6:30 p.m. Full story.

Police described the video they say 18-year-old Carston H. Goodson sent to students via Snapchat as "a continuous rant" that depicted a "graphic video of the offender stating, 'I will show you what a school shooter is.'" Full story.

Teen arrested in Aurora shooting

Elgin fire union opposes proposal to cut overtime
