State Sen. Laura Murphy hosting fraud-prevention seminar in Des Plaines
State Sen. Laura Murphy is hosting a fraud-prevention seminar Tuesday, Nov. 14, in Des Plaines.
The event will feature a presentation by U.S. Bank that will include information about how to report fraud and how banks detect fraud. Attendees will also learn about the latest scams, how to protect themselves and how to prevent identity theft.
The free event is at 3 p.m. at the Des Plaines Public Library, 1501 Ellinwood Ave.
