Algonquin Road project meeting Nov. 9 in Barrington
Illinois Department of Transportation officials will host the first public information meeting concerning a proposed improvement of Algonquin Road/Route 62 in Barrington Hills from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, at Barrington Park District headquarters, 235 Lions Drive.
Officials said the open-house-format meeting's purpose is to introduce the project, solicit public input and provide information on additional public involvement opportunities.
Exhibits will be on display, with an audiovisual presentation shown continuously during the meeting. Project team members will be able to discuss the project and answer questions.
The Algonquin Road work would go from Route 25 to Route 68 in Barrington Hills in Cook and Kane counties
