Rise in overdose rescues worries Lake County authorities
In Friday's case, sheriff's deputies dispatched to a parking lot on the 20500 block of North Rand Road found a man unconscious in the passenger seat of a vehicle. It was the 25th time this year deputies have used naloxone to revive an overdose victim, more than in 2015 and 2016 combined. The high number of rescues required is worrying them. Full story.
