No injuries reported in auto repair shop fire

Nobody was injured when an electrical fire broke out at an auto repair shop shortly after 1 p.m. Friday in Naperville, officials said.

Firefighters arrived at the shop on the 600 block of West 5th Avenue in Naperville to find heavy smoke coming from the roof and front door, and flames were in the duct of a painting booth, according to a news release.

The fire was out in about 20 minutes. There was minimal damage; firefighters noted that the shop's employees manually activated a fire suppression system.
