Hanover Park police investigating shooting of man
Hanover Park police are investigating the Friday afternoon shooting of a 19-year-old man who has been released from the hospital.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting at 3:50 p.m. Oct. 13 outside on the 5500 block of Santa Cruz Drive, where they found the victim with non-life-threatening injuries, Deputy Police Chief Andrew Johnson said.
No one is in custody, but investigators don't believe the injured man to have been a random victim, Johnson added.
Police have released no other details of the victim's identity, including his hometown.
