Friends of the Palatine Library book sale upcoming

Friends of the Palatine Library will hold an annual fall used book sale from Oct. 20 to 22.

All materials are donated by the community and offered at a deep discount. Many categories of books, CDs, DVDs, and LPs will be offered, as well as a large selection of Polish and Chinese language books.

Hours will be 6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 20; 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 21; and 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 22. Admission for nonmembers is $5 on the first day and free Oct. 21 and 22. All items will be half price on the final day.

The Friends funds the summer reading program T-shirts and tote bags, winter reading incentives and other projects. The library is at 700 N. North Court.
