Aurora police seek help identifying shooting suspect

The Aurora Police Department is reaching out to the public via social media in hopes of identifying a man they believe was involved in a shooting Aug. 26 near New Haven and Hammond avenues.

The police posted two photos on Facebook showing a black man with facial hair wearing a white T-shirt and ripped blue jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at (630) 256-5500, Aurora Area Crime Stoppers at (630) 892-1000 or to submit a tip via the My PD app.
