Schneider to launch re-election campaign Saturday

Congressman Brad Schneider will formally kick off his re-election campaign Saturday in his hometown of Deerfield.

The Democratic representative will seek his second consecutive term, and third overall, serving the 10th District of Illinois, which encompasses most of Lake County and portions of northern Cook County.

The event begins at 10 a.m. Saturday, at Warehouse Eatery, 833 Deerfield Road in Deerfield.

According to his campaign, Schneider will discuss his work to grow the economy for all Americans, represent the values of the 10th District and stand up to President Donald Trump's efforts to repeal the Affordable Care Act and other programs.
