Teams sought for Wauconda Fest water fights
Teams of five are being sought to participate in the 4th annual water fights tournament at Wauconda Fest later this month.
Participants must be 18 or older, and teams can be men or women or both. Ponchos, gloves and hats are allowed by not provided.
The single elimination tournament begins at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 24, and includes cash prizes for the top four teams. The entry fee is $20.
Preregister at the Wauconda Park District office, 600 N. Main St. or at wwww.waucondaparks.com. Registration begins at 1:30 p.m. the day of the event if spots are available. For more information, contact Devin Mueller at the Wauconda Fire District, (847) 526-2821.
