Two injured in Kane County crash
Two drivers were taken to the hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening after a crash in Kane County near Montgomery Tuesday, officials say.
Route 30 between Ochard Road and Route 31 near Montgomery started reopening about 5:30 p.m., police said.
The Kane County sheriff's office was investigating a traffic crash with injuries in the area Wednesday, but Lt. Pat Gengler later said the crash was less serious than it originally appeared.
Further details about the crash were not immediately available. Police expect to release more information later Wednesday, Gengler said.
