This is a non-tenure track, term position in the area of Elementary Education with particular emphasis on instruction in mathematics, literacy, social science, science, or special education for undergraduate students focused on earning a Professional Educator License. Responsibilities of the Position 1. Teach undergraduate courses in our educator preparation program leading to a teaching endorsement for classrooms serving children (1st through 6th Grade). 2. Attend monthly faculty meetings at the University Center of Lake County when they are scheduled by the UCLC coordinator. Requirements of Candidates: 1. The rank of Instructor requires a Master's Degree with an emphasis in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education or other closely related field. The rank of Lecturer requires a doctoral degree with an emphasis in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education or other closely related field. Doctoral degree is preferred. 2.
