Last weekend, Northwest suburban indie alt-rock band Jacks and Atoms - Daven Masulis of Mount Prospect and Dan Orlowski of Hoffman Estates - dropped its second radio-friendly jam of 2022, "I Get Lost," with a video on the way. This weekend, fans can catch the duo live when they play Station 34 in downtown Mount Prospect.

Working for the weekend? Kick yours off with the rock of Mike Reno and Loverboy, when the band brings the hits to the Arcada Theatre Friday. The Knoxville-based Americana group The Sedonas lead off the show.

Raging for a cause
West suburban punk band Take the Reins takes the stage at Reggies for a night of camaraderie and fundraising for the Rosecrance Recovery Center. Inspired by a recent loss, the benefit show - also featuring Chicago-area bands Til Morning and The Linden Method - aims to draw awareness to mental health and substance abuse issues and to assist the center in its mission to help people who are struggling.
