Festivals are back! North Coast tickets go on sale Friday
Whether it's wishful thinking or smartly planning ahead, North Coast music festival organizers announced on Thursday tickets for the Labor Day weekend electronic, rap and dance festival will go on sale Friday, March 26.
And the first wave of the lineup is a doozy. In headlining slots Friday, expect to see North Shore-based Kaskade and Louis the Child, followed up by GRiZ and Ganja White Night Saturday and Zeds Dead and Rezz Sunday.
Among the varied acts playing support, hometown talent is well represented, too, with Ron Carroll, Align, Bentley Dean, Birthdayy Partyy, Dani Deahl, INZO and Stratus all hailing from Chicago and the suburbs.
And that's just the first wave of announcements.
The festival, which returns to its former three-day glory Friday through Sunday, Sept. 3-5 (after 2019's two-day version), is also moving to Bridgeview's SeatGeek Stadium from its most recent home on Northerly Island.
Three-day general admission and VIP passes go on sale at 1 p.m. Friday at northcoastfestival.com, with single-day tickets hitting the box office at a later date. Prices were unavailable as of press time.
With the COVID-19 pandemic still raging and the future of large-scale festivals still uncertain for this year, organizers say tickets will be eligible for transfer to 2022 or full refunds if North Coast is canceled or postponed.
