Sound check: Louden Swain, 'Supernatural' star livestream this weekend

Music of the divine

The dark fantasy series “Supernatural” may be coming to an end next week after 15 years on the air, but God (Rob Benedict) has other plans. In real life, the actor (who played fan-favorite Chuck and his devious alter ego) and his California band Louden Swain — featuring Billy Moran, Michael Borja and Stephen Norton — normally spend much of the year playing “Supernatural” and sci-fi fan festivals. But with most of those on hold right now, the band aims to fill The Empty with some solid rock performances, including the livestreaming “A November to Remember” show this weekend.

4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14; pay what you can at stageit.com.

Cannon's blues

International blues star Toronzo Cannon hits Berwyn this weekend to bring a little heat to the area's crisp fall. Cannon, who recently retired from his job driving buses for the CTA, used his gig for exposure to stories from all walks of life, tales he builds on for his electrifying blues songs. A Chicago legend, Cannon will be shredding on FitzGerald's outdoor patio stage. Social distancing and public health limitations will apply, so plan ahead and wear a mask.

7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, at FitzGerald's, 6615 W. Roosevelt Road, Berwyn. Free. (708) 788-2118 or fitzgeraldsnightclub.com.
