Iliza Shlesinger to perform at McHenry Outdoor Theater in October

As part of her tour "Iliza's Comedy Tailgate," comedian and actress Iliza Shlesinger is coming to the McHenry Outdoor Theater in October.

Tickets are set to go on sale at 10 a.m. this Friday, according to a the McHenry County Theater Facebook post announcing the event. The show be live and in-person at 7 p.m. Oct. 3.

Ticket prices have not been determined yet, according to the McHenry County Theater's Facebook page.

Shlesinger has five Netflix specials, and, according to her website, has recently branched out into acting. She recently starred opposite Mark Wahlberg in the Netflix film "Spenser Confidential" and next will be seen in the drama "Pieces of a Woman" starring Shia LaBeouf and Vanessa Kirby.

According to Shlesinger's website, her new Netflix series, "The Iliza Shlesinger Sketch Show," premiered April 1, and in November 2019, her fifth stand-up special, "Unveiled," which talks about "her journey of getting married," premiered on Netflix.

Shlesinger is the only female comedian - and the youngest - to hold the title of NBC's Last Comic Standing, according to her website.
