In this humorous Christmas classic, a couple (played by Kimberly Barnes of Antioch and Adam Miskie of Delavan, Wisconsin) struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids, probably the most inventively awful kids in history.

Mayhem and fun result when the Herdmans collide with the Christmas story head on.

Directed by Adam Armstrong, this comedy is adapted from the best-selling young adult book by Barbara Robinson, and has become a holiday staple for groups across the United States. It features plenty of great roles for children and adults, a few favorite Christmas carols and lots of laughs.

Performances of "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" will be at 8 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, Dec. 13, 14, 19, 20 and 21; and 2:30 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, Dec. 14, 15, 21 and 22. Tickets are available through the box office and online at pmltheatre.com.
