Transform ugly fireplace into cheery holiday display

David Hess of Arlington Heights does not like the look of his living room, but with the help of Treetime Christmas Creations, it can transform for the holidays.

We have limited space, a big ugly fireplace and outdated furniture.

A "rustic charm" look is the perfect way to brighten this room for the holidays. Start by laying a Treetime Pre-lit Brighton garland along the mantle and hang a matching Treetime pre-lit Brighton wreath on the mirror. Add simple burgundy bows for an easy but beautiful touch. Next to the fireplace put a 5-foot pre-lit Treetime Brighton Pine artificial Christmas tree, featuring some long needle pine boughs. Be creative with a container for the tree. We used a metal drum container to complete as part of this rustic charm look.

For a tablescape, use a wooden lantern filled with pine cones, a deer, and one of our favorite easy to use pieces - a ball ornament garland. We put these ball garlands in tablescapes, on mantles and around trees. It's super easy and versatile.
