Metropolis to host Sunday Soiree featuring shopping, comedy
Metropolis Performing Arts Centre's annual ladies fundraising event, Sunday Soiree, is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 29.
The downtown Arlington Heights theater will host 14 vendors featuring jewelry, clothing, purses and home goods starting at 4:30 p.m. The event runs until 9 p.m., and features heavy hors d'oeuvres, drinks, a swag bag, and a comedy show with comediennes Jeanie Doogan and Cheryl Anderson.
Tickets are $55 and available at metropolisarts.com or by visiting or calling the box office at (847) 577-2121. Raffle tickets are also available. Proceeds benefit Metropolis' theatrical and arts education programs.
