'Jurassic World Live Tour' coming to Allstate Arena in November
The massive dinosaurs of "Jurassic World" will descend on Rosemont's Allstate Arena in November in the world premiere of a live show that mixes animatronics, performers and more.
The "Jurassic World Live Tour" will run Nov. 1 to 3 at the Allstate Arena before heading to other cities across the country.
The production, according to a news release, will feature more than 24 "film-accurate, life-sized dinosaurs" and a new storyline that has scientists working "to unravel a corrupt plan and save an all-new dinosaur from a terrible fate." Scenery and projections will create the look of a jungle.
Fan-favorite Velociraptor blue and a Tyrannosaurus rex more than 40 feet in length take center stage, along with the "Jurassic World" score.
"Working with a world-class production team and Universal filmmakers, we have extended the Jurassic World canon with a new story that can only be told through this live, arena spectacular as we bring full-scale dinosaurs to generations of fans around the globe," said Juliette Feld Grossman, chief operating officer of Feld Entertainment, in the release.
Tickets are on sale for the seven Allstate shows at jurassicworldlivetour.com. Tickets start at $20.
