Updated bathroom would make family proud

This is our main bathroom, with old, crumbling tiles. It's very outdated. Although it's been needing some work for awhile, we've been putting two daughters through college, which has a higher priority!

Please make me proud to show off my bathroom! Thanks.

The Augustines say they have tiles that are "crumbling" and not intact. The dark beige color isn't very inviting and could use an updated, bright look that is durable and easy to keep clean, keeping it free of any mold or mildew.

Suggestions

• Bath Planet would replace the existing dark tub with a nice, new acrylic bathtub in white or biscuit color.

• We would suggest an acrylic wall surround in one of our granite or marble colors to give the white bathtub and the space some color contrast.

• We could install one of our two- or four-shelf corner pieces for soaps and bottles. These shelves are stationary and blend right in with the wall color.

• We would also suggest a new faucet in chrome or brushed nickel as an additional piece for functionality and to update the bath as well. One of our curved, crescent shower rods in the same finish as the new faucet would finish off the bath and we believe the Augustines would be very happy!
