Dining out: Restaurants go pink for breast cancer awareness

In Good Taste

October is breast cancer awareness month, and this is the 11th year for The Lynn Sage Foundation's In Good Taste campaign. To honor it, more than 175 Chicago-area restaurants and bars will donate proceeds from select dishes, desserts and drinks to help raise awareness and support for local breast cancer research during the month of October.

Participating restaurants include Francesca's, Harry Caray's Italian Steakhouse (Lombard, Rosemont), Holy Mackerel (Lombard), Old Town Pour House (Oak Brook, Naperville), Tuscany (Oak Brook, Wheeling), Weber Grill (Lombard, Schaumburg), Rosebud and many more.

During October, enjoy a White Raspberry Bellini for $10 at Saranello's in Wheeling and feel good knowing that a dollar from each drink bought will benefit The Lynn Sage Foundation. Saranello's is at 601 N. Milwaukee Ave., Wheeling, (847) 777-6878 or saranellos.com/.
